Overview
A chemical process site required a practical flow measurement package for four separate duties with different accuracy and installation requirements.
The challenge
The original specification had to be revised after the site visit to account for installation constraints, remote sensing requirements and the cost of applying premium technology to every line.

- Specified one Coriolis flowmeter for the most demanding application.
- Specified three differential-pressure flow assemblies.
- Included orifice plates and manifolds for the DP duties.
- Adjusted the specification for remote sensor installation.
Results
The revised package covered all four duties using one Coriolis meter and three differential-pressure assemblies, avoiding the need to specify four higher-cost Coriolis instruments.
